Today I am going to talk about something that has already been talked about many times before: the world's obsession with perfection. I chose this topic, because even with all of the dialogue that has begun in regards to perfection, more specifically why we expect so much of it from women and the way they look, the world still has a long way to go. I'm not saying men don't ever feel like they have to look perfect, but I do believe that women are pressured and bothered about it much more than men, at least right now. In America, this pressuring for perfection is everywhere. In Barbie dolls, Disney princesses, movies, T.V. shows, and make up adds, women and little girls are influenced every day to think that perfection only matters on the outside.
